By combining these two words, Pitra Dosh refers to defects that may be related to ancestors in one way or another. According to astrology, Pitra Dosh plays a vital role in your life. According to ancient astrology texts, Pitra Dosha is the most significant and dangerous defect or dosha. The person who has Pitra Dosh in their kundli does not succeed in any work in their life. They see many ups and downs in their life. They have to suffer financial worries and mental harassment throughout their life. Their domestic and spiritual life will get disturbed. Every day, they have to face new challenges, and they don't have any peace. Many problems continue to plague the family despite using various remedial measures. The astrology suggests that Pitra Dosh manifests itself in daily life through difficulties with marriage and domestic problems. However, these problems may arise due to some or other reasons also.

Consequences of Pitra Dosh

If your kundli has Pitra dosha, then you need to have complete knowledge of this dosha. There are some possible indications of this terrible doshas, such that firstly whenever sudden death or continuous death occurs in the family, secondly loss of respect, reputation, and prosperity and thirdly, the loss of ancestral land-property, fourth persistent losses in business, fifthly chronic illness or weak growth of the family and more. The horoscope inspectors say Pitra Dosh is responsible for incidents of pain and distress. It is a bitter truth that all or any of the above incidents can be related to Pitrudosh. But, you must clear one thing in your mind that Pitradosh doesn't need to be the karaka of all these.

Let's try to understand Pitra Dosh according to the Vedas

Let's first try to figure out the actual meaning of Pitrudosh. Pitra is our ancestor, no longer on this earth and residing in Pitrloka. The most exciting fact is that these ancestors maintain their relationship with their family in Bhuloka. Probably, they keep watching you. This is true since it is mentioned in the Rigveda, Yajurveda, Vayu Purana, Matsya Purana, Padma Purana, Markandeya Purana, etc.

Categories of our ancestors
We categorize our ancestors into three main categories-
1. A Pitra, the head of a gotra, maintains its grace as the oldest of these three categories.
2. The ancestors of the second category are associated with the middle category, who are the promising souls of the family. These souls attain salvation and get settled in the Pitralok. These ancestors are full of positive thinking, and they are called moderate.
3. Ancestors who belong to the third category don't mean they are low-grade or evil souls. They are placed in this category because they leave this world before fulfilling their wishes. Their unfulfilled desires don't allow them to rest in peace. They wander in the ancestral world like ghosts and trouble their family members to make their wishes come true.

An unsatisfied death in a house can be transformed into a third type of ancestor.

How does the Father treat you?

Now, it is exciting to know what precisely this Pitra wants from you after all. These third-class ancestors want respect for themselves. They also yearn to complete their unfinished tasks by your hand. In such a case, you may become the victim of third-class ancestors if you fail to provide adequate respect to them, fail to achieve their goals, or fail to perform any of their work. Also, you may suffer hazardous consequences if you show negligence or greed in property-related matters or other important work. If you disappoint them with your acts, they can create problems. Here, it is essential to understand that if these Pitras become beneficial, they provide freedom from the problematic yogas in your kundli. If they are happy with you, they can increase small beneficial yogas. Furthermore, they do not harm you. Also, they can give you longevity.
