Apart from Ganga Jayanti, the time of Ganga Dussehra is also considered related to this, but there is some difference between the two, according to which Ganga comes out of heaven on the Saptami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Vaishakh month and gets a place in Mahadev's locks and then comes to earth. Ganga Jayanti is not just a religious festival but also a time to unite power with nature and bring auspiciousness to life.
