Rahu Mahadasha Effects and Remedies

Under Rahu's benefic dasa, activities such as pilgrimage, charity, and the advent of knowledge are indicated. Rahu in trines, angles, or in exaltation with benefic planets gives lots of wealth. The native proves successful in litigation, and he is adorned with a position of minister. Under Rahu Dasa, the native goes abroad to attain education and expanding his knowledge. In that case, it indicates gains from lower people, gains from agriculture, conveyances, worship of low deities, travel to western countries, and philanthropic acts. Saturn in angles is troublesome and gives success after obstacles; the results are the same as before. If Saturn is weak, afflicted and lies in 6th, 8th, or 12th houses from Rahu, then it indicates heart trouble aches, afflictions to wife and son, diseases due to bile and wind, fear from obstacles in marriage, the danger of a fall from a tree or any high place, biliousness and rheumatism and biliousness, transfers in service, residence in remote foreign land and transfers in service. Saturn is a dire malefic planet in maraka house and causes death in its bhukti.

Rahu-Mercury Dasha: Mercury in tries, angles, own sign in exaltation or 11th house from Rahu or Lagna indicates royal favour, prosperity from trading, oratory, inclined to marry, enjoyment with low women, and successful undertakings. Mercury in 6th, 8th, or 12th houses or conjunction with malefic planets, indicates untruthfulness, fraudulent schemes, gains from corrupt practices, loss of honour and wealth position, unexpected disputes, and death of a preceptor. Mercury, in the 2nd and 7th houses, gives rise to mental diseases and unnatural death.

Rahu-Ketu Dasha: Under Ketu Bhukti hurt, caused due to fire or weapons, the native suffers from loss of a son, loss of reputation, theft, pain in the body, diseases, and fever due to disease in anus or excess of wind. If Ketu lies in the eighth house, epidemic diseases are caused. Ketu gives good results when it lies in conjunction with benefic planets. Rahu-Sun Dasha:  The Sun in trines, angles, own sign, in exaltation or eleventh house, indicates honour from all-round prosperity, interest in charities, success in competition, and mental unrest to get more and more. If the Sun is afflicted, weak, or in 6th, 8th, or 12th house, it indicates quarrels in the family, high fever, change of residence, affections of eyes, and danger from robbers and fire. Besides, he suffers from severe illness if the Sun lies in 2n or 7th house. 

Rahu-Moon Dasha: The Moon gives favourable effects if it lies in trines, exaltation, or own sign from Rahu; otherwise, the Moon is the dread of Rahu, and certain schizophrenic conditions and phobia develop.
