हिंदू पंचांग और पारम्परिक परम्पराओं के अनुसार साल के हर माह में दो बार एकादशी आती है। वैशाख मास की शुक्ल पक्ष में पड़ने वाली एकादशी को मोहिनी एकादशी कहा जाता है। मोहिनी एकादशी के दिन भगवान विष्णु ने मोहिनी स्वरूप धारण किया था। आइयें विस्तार से जानते हैं, मोहिनी एकादशी व्रत के बारे में-  

मेष राशि में पूरे 12 साल बाद चार ग्रहों का दुर्लभ संयोग बन रहा है। इस चतुर्ग्रही संयोग में राहु, बुध, गुरु और सूर्य शामिल होंगे। ऐसे में शुभ योग के साथ अशुभ योग भी होगा। इसलिए जानें कि चतुर्ग्रही योग से कौन सी राशियों को मिलेगा लाभ और कौन सी राशियों को होगा नुकसान।

The nature of the planet definitely has an effect on the results obtained from the planet. Here, in case of Rahu being malefic, a negative element is visible due to its tamasic nature. In Vedic astrology, Rahu makes the person act according to the mindset, whenever we are affected by some aspect; it is natural that its effect will be strongly visible on us. Rahu puts the greatest effect on the intellect and mind. Rahu works to increase our desires, lust, dilemmas and confusions. करवा चौथ/Karva Chauth कार्तिक मास के कृष्ण पक्ष की चतुर्थी के दिन मनाया जाता है। यह पर्व जीवन साथी के सुख तथा उसकी लम्बी आयु हेतु किया जाता है। भारत के अनेक क्षेत्रों में  इस व्रत को अलग अलग रूपों से मनाया जाता है। आज के समय में इस व्रत की मान्यता इतनी अधिक है कि यह  पूर्ण रूप से हर संप्रदाय की स्त्रियों के आकर्षण का केंद्र बन गया है। करवा चौथ का व्रत चाहे कितनी भी आधुनिकता से जुड़ता जाए लेकिन उसकी एक भावना जो सभी स्थानों पर एक ही होती है जो विवाह एवं दाम्पत्य सुख को दर्शाती है।

आश्विन (क्वार) मास की पूर्णिमा तिथि एक अत्यंत ही महत्वपूर्ण समय होता है, क्योंकि यह वही समय होता है, जब शरद पूर्णिमा/Sharad Purnima मनाई जाती है। इस दिन को आश्विन पूर्णिमा के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। हिंदू पंचांग में यह समय सबसे प्रसिद्ध पूर्णिमाओं में से एक होता है। सभी पूर्णिमा किसी खास महत्व के साथ संबंधित होती है, लेकिन इस पूर्णिमा को कई नामों और विशेषताओं से संबंधित माना गया है।

To earn the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi, the Kojagari vrat is performed on the full moon day of Ashwin month. If anybody performs this fast with full devotion, Goddess Lakshmi becomes very happy and blesses them with wealth and prosperity.

अन्नकूट का त्यौहार कार्तिक मास में आने वाली शुक्ल पक्ष की प्रतिपदा तिथि को मनाया जाता है। अन्नकूट का त्यौहार उत्तर भारत में मुख्य रुप से ब्रज मंडल के सभी स्थलों पर उत्साह एवं भक्ति के साथ मनाते हैं। आज के समय में अन्नकूट का पर्व आंचलिक संस्कृति से आगे बढ़ते हुए अब अधिकांश स्थानों पर मनाया जाता है और इस दिन भगवान श्री कृष्ण के सम्मुख महाभोज का भोग लगाया जाता है। 

According to astrology, Saturn is the slowest moving planet. It stays in one sign for about two and a half years. In Vedic astrology, Saturn is called the lord of justice. Saturn has got the title of magistrate among all the nine planets. Of all the planets, only Saturn is the one who has the right to punish, and it is said that this title has been given to him by Lord Shiva himself. Saturn punishes a person according to his deeds.

In Vedic astrology, the eighth house of the horoscope is not auspicious. This house counts in all three houses (6, 8, 12). It is also famous as Dusthana house. This house is also a part of Moksha trikona (4, 8, 12 houses). This house shows complex diseases, accidents, sudden gain or loss, a fortune for females, dowry, ancestral property, will, research, interest in esoteric and spiritual subjects, etc.
